: 25 years of cargo connection between Incheon and Vienna Asiana Airlines is one of the leading South Korean airlines, based in South Korea's capital Seoul and based at the nearby Incheon Airport. Through its global network, it connects important economic centers in Asia, North America and Europe. Thanks to a geographically ideal location and excellent handling infrastructure, the airline uses Vienna Airport as a European logistics hub. Asiana Airlines currently operates six cargo flights a week with Boeing 747 aircraft between the Austrian capital and Incheon. An average of 45 tons of cargo (import and export) are transported per flight. Vienna Airport plays an important role as a freight transshipment point to and from Asia, particularly for automobile production in Central and Eastern Europe.
