Outside of work, Kyle is passionate about sports, with a particular interest in hockey and football. What inspired you to start the company, and how has the journey evolved over time?
The inspiration behind Egavas International came from our CEO, Kyle Savage, deep passion and extensive experience in the logistics industry. After spending over 10+ years working in freight forwarding, he saw a significant opportunity to create a business that not only provided exceptional service but also focused on building strong relationships with clients. He wanted to bring a personal touch to the logistics sector, which often felt impersonal due to its highly transactional nature.
In 2016, with a clear vision and a wealth of industry knowledge, he decided to branch off and start Egavas International as a family-owned company. We knew that with hard work, dedication, and a customer-first approach, we could make a lasting impact in the freight forwarding space.
Since then, the journey has been an exciting evolution. We’ve grown from a small, one-person operation to a team of dedicated professionals, expanding our services and building relationships with clients around the world. The company has adapted to industry changes and challenges, and we’ve continuously embraced new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and service.

Building strong relationships is crucial when selecting agents. It is essential that we align on shared goals, customer service standards, and reliable expertise. Currently, our market focus is on the GCC, Europe, and select countries in Asia.
Are there any new services, niches, trade lanes, or strategic expansions in the pipeline that overseas partners should know about?
We provide comprehensive coverage across a wide range of specialties, including events, pharmaceuticals, out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo, and general cargo. At this time, we do not anticipate any strategic expansions beyond our planned growth, as we remain focused on enhancing our ability to support our customers' growth and global outreach.
